Chuck …
Ok, here's the info you requested. From my DOS config.sys:
DEVICEHIGH=C:\PAS16\W144B3\MVSOUND.SYS D:3 Q:7 T:1 J:1 S:1,220,1,5 M:0 V:40
DEVICEHIGH=C:\FUSION16\SLCD.SYS /D:MVCD001 /B:1F88 /M:P
and from the DOS autoexec:
LOADHIGH C:\FUSION16\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MVCD001 /M:10 /E /V /L:I
The line I added to my config.sys in OS/2 is:
BASEDEV=SONYB31A.ADD /A:0 /P:1F88
I added the line to the end of my config.sys right after the line
'DEVICE=\OS2CDROM.DMD'. I've removed the /Q switch from the earlier
'ifs=cdfs.ifs' line so that I can see the messages about loading the cdrom file
system.
As I said, I put the 31a driver at the end of the file, but I could try moving
it up and putting the cdfs, os2cdrom and sonyb31a files together and before
other .add files and see if that helps.
For the record, I also tried changing some of the SCSI ID's in the os2cdrom.dmd
file with no apparent luck.
Any help you can shed will be appreciated!

PS: You swapped the second '2' for and extra '5' in my ppn when you replied so
this message wasn't flagged. But, I'm searching for all sony/31a stuff so no
problem!
