Glad to hear that a _new_ version of MSCDEX is included in MS-DOS 6.0. That means that it would probably be safe to take a chance and purchase it. I have been running CDROM just fine for years using MS-DOS 3.2. But when trying to install MS-DOS 5.0, I had no version 5.0 MSCDEX and so the CDROM would not run. Hopefully, Microsoft 6.0 will allow me to call the new compressed hard disk drive DRIVE C. Then I can continue to call my CDROM drive DRIVE D, and all should be well using my old, very long, very complicated, factory installed AUTOEXEC.BAT. With STACKER, STACKER insisted in calling the compressed drive DRIVE D which was already the label of my CDROM drive. This prevented me from using it under my old AUTOEXEC.BAT, and so I returned STACKER to the store. If Microsoft has no 800 number, and if I have problems with it, back DOS 6.0 will go to the store as well. It sounds nice, I want it, but I don't _need_ it. Thanks again, Dan
