Stellar7 Install croaked
Just got the Stellar7 CD
Wouldn't install at all – whatever the VGA/Sound settings, when I pressed the
"4. Install" option it locked up with "drive not ready".
a) it didn't say which drive
b) all drives were ready and working
c) there was only one option=retry, which just looped indefinitely
d) the manual made no mention
e) I had to reboot the whole PC to get out of it.
I eventually installed it by removing QEMM, RAMDRIVE and STACKER from my
config.sys, so I guess there is a problem with one of these. Took me about
45 mins. I'm posting this in case anyone else hits the same.
And after all that the game looks like the old Starglider with a soundtrack!
