The registered version is LhA 1.50 and it does not, in and of itself,
support self extracting files… however the distribution disk contains an
evaluation version of LhASFX. Here's the 'contents' file from the LhA
distribution disk:

Apart from the various text files, the following directories
are on this disk:
LhX
– Contains LhX, an extract-only version of LhA. Uses less
memory than LhA for listing/extracting files from
archives. Handles multivolume archives.
LhA
– Contains LhA V1.50r, registered version.
KeyBackup
– Contains copies of the keyfile. Useful if there is a
read error on the one in the `l' directory.
LhADist
– Contains LhA V1.50r, registered version. Redistributable
version. (See REDISTRIBUTION file).
LhAEval
– Contains LhA V1.38e, freely distributable evaluation
version.
LhASFX_1.2
– Contains LhASFX V1.2, freely distributable SFX archive
creator.
UNIXLHa
– Contains source for UNIX LHa V1.00, compressed with
`compress' and archived with `tar'. Not part of the
LhA package.
LHA-DOS
– Contains LHA V2.13 for MS-DOS. The archive is self-
extracting and should be executed from the `C:>' prompt.
ReArc
– Contains ReArc V2.08 by Mark Cassidy. This is a utility
that can be used to convert .ZOO, .ZIP etc. archives to
LhA format.
AX
– Contains AX V37.8 by Klaus Seistrup. This is an universal
archive extract utility.
