Release 2 is completely incompatible with Windows. Release 3 will work with
windows, but I don't know anyone who's been able to get it to render while
minimized or in the b.g.
I do know of a couple of people that are succesfully rendering b.g. using OS/2,
but I don't use it, and can't comment more.
