OTOH, why in the world would you buy a modem that doesn't support HST,
since US Robotics will sell you one that does both, eh?
There are a HUGE number of HST capable modems out there; US Robotics was so
far ahead of the rest of the industry it's funny, and that's one good
reason to show them some respect.
On our company BBS, we get a huge number of HST modem connects… buying
non-HST would have cut those people off, which would be stupid.
