I gather that you already have *one* VCR with a flying erase head? If so, then I don't see what else you really need. You can certainly put together a slide show program, with no genlock effects (overlays, fancy fades & wipes, etc) with the equip you have. You don't need any fancy software to do strait cuts on the video. Just record your Amiga title, fade to black, <pause VCR> show some video, <pause VCR> cut in another amiga anim or such, <pause VCR> cut in some video, etc…. With some VCR's, you could dub over the voice/music after you record the video. If your's doesn't, then you'll need to play/record the sound at same time you are recording video. Hey, at least you'll know it's synced! I don't see how DCTV will solve any problems. It's just your amiga output. Whether it's DCTV, DPaint, etc makes no difference. You've still gotta cut between video and the amiga. –jp–seattle–
