I've since broken down and opened the manual to the car, and confirmed that
in fact it doesn't have anti-lock brakes, and as far as I'm concerned, I'm
happier that it doesn't, as I've heard lots of BAD things about anti-lock
brakes in general, and while it might not apply to the Mazda anti-lock
brakes, I'm just as happy to not have another thing that can break down.
(usually at the least appropriate time)
