Andrew, The specifications that you mentioned sound very impressive (e.g. 64-bit DMA, "Screaming" RISC CPUs). However, the other platforms still do not have an EFFICIENT multi-tasking software AND hardware capability. Other than a UNIX workstation, which PC do you know that could format two floppy disks simultaniously, run a paint program and word processor and download a file at the same time? Granted, it is the PERCEIVED problems of the Amiga that bothers everyone. We know that it is superior technology, for now. But, as we have learned with the format wars on VCRs, the VHS format won, not for superior technology, but for a superior perceived market.
