After leaving a job at which I used my office Macintosh to access the Internet via TCP/IP, I am now faced with using a commercial dialup service from home, using my Amiga. I've selected a service provider, and they offer SLIP & PPP. I would like to find some intuitive software to use on my Amiga using SLIP or PPP, so I don't have to settle for VT100 and "rn" and other such interfaces from the Unix shell. I think that I will need 1) a SLIP or PPP driver and 2) a program to use it and provide the GUI. I'm most interested in FTP, email, telnet and gopher. The product(s) can be shareware, PD or commercial. Shareware or PD are preferred, since I've been burned too many times by commercial software that didn't work as promised (but then, that's why I'm asking for recommendations). Suggestions?
