Phil: Here's the stats for my 240 LPS, as reported by ExpertPrep: Lo Cyl: 1 Hi Cyl: 2662 Heads: 4 Sectors: 65 Formatted Size: 234 MB Blocks: 479350 Buffer Memory: 32 DMA Mask: 0xFFFFFFFE Max Transfer: 0x7FFFFFFF I'd suggest using ExpertPrep and use the following commands: UnPrep Hard Drive Low Level Format You should then be able to page thru the text field to add your partition name(s) etc. Then use: Write This Setup folllowed by AmigaDos Format Unles there's a fault in the drive (you can also try a Bad-Block ReMap) this should get you up and running with a fresh drive. All of this ASSUMING you've given up trying to save any data on the drive. ***The above noted procedure will DESTROY ALL DATA on the hard drive*** The program will warn you as well. Hope this helps!
