We're a Toaster dealer in the Chicagoland area. Just got our first batch of the
the GVP G-Force A4000/040/40. What a er, uh, well, screamer, to steal some- one
else's words….. 😉
Seriously, our test renderings with Lightwave 3.1 are running close to 5X
faster than before! The absolute worst we got so far was a 3.6X speedup, but
most are closer to 5X. Framestores save in 5 seconds, and everything else is
sped up, too.
Makes you think twice about the Raptor, since you could add one of these to
your existing A4000, plus buy a well-pumped second A4000/Toaster with another
GForce in it, add WaveLink, and simmer well at a 10X performance boost…..
