#QUICKTIME
Jim,
Having problems running quicktime movies. I just bought Peter Gabriel's
new CD ROM "EXPLORA 1" and the quicktime display is so slow that the
audio keeps cutting out. I believe this is so the video can catch up. I've
had same problem with other quicktime movies with sound. Is there a
problem with Emplant running animations? I also have Macbench that runs
performance test and the video mix doesn't score very good.
Does this sound like a problem with my setup? I've tried changing memory
settings, caches, and priority setting with no luck. I even tried running
the CD in 16 colors with little difference.
I have a 4000/040 with NEC triple speed CDROM drive. I use the multiscan
driver. CD drive is connected to Emplants SCSI.
After NAB I went to Havasu for easter weekend. How do you get anything
done in a town like that? Wild – Things going on in this one cove that
we don't do here in Idaho.
