I don't blame you; that would definitely sour the JVC flavor for me. too!
Service matters in all products, but especially the ones that folks like us buy
to earn livings with, yet (in my case, at least) are forced to work with very
limited budgets. $6K is a lot of money for a VCR to me, and I take such
decisions very seriously.
