Well, we can certainly take the image, arbitrarily crop, zoom (with
scaling or subsampling, your choice), and repeat that process as many
times or as "deep" as you like. However, this process is bound by the laws
of physics… there's only so much image data in there, and at some point,
you're going to be looking at a blur. The better the image, the more you
can do this, of course. But you CAN do it. :^)
