PAR wish list

Very interesting, I've been using 1.8 for almost everything now for quite
awhile including output to the PAR. I'm very comfortable with this setting and
adjust the lighting accordingly. I have been able to have light and dark scenes
without any problems. I have noticed however that a rendered frame with Video
color check and without it does make a difference in terms of luminocity ie:
black is lighter and greyer. I didn't notice this with the Targa originally but
am now aware of it but less so. I suspect this is because of the broader
bandwidth of the PAR's framebuffer. What do you think?
