Ian, "the screen flashes to white" I have seen this flash when the palette for the second flic is different than the first's. What could be happening is that the 2nd palette loads before the 2nd flic's image, and you get to see the transition while the wrong image is displayed. If this is the reason for the flash, you could easily find out by making the palette of the second file the same as the first file. Or you play the first flic again as if it were a separate flic and easily determine if that's your problem. If not – let us know. Thanks Nik
