You can wait a few more months for something better. Of course, by then there wiill be something even better available "in a few more months." For more than 10 years the personal computer industry has always been on the verge of something better "in a few more months." If I had decided to wait for that something better 10 years ago I still wouldn't own a computer today! For instance, there's lots of messages on this forum about multimedia. I've looked at the hardware involved (overpriced) and the media (very few disks available today). It's intellectually interesting but there's nothing in the multimedia arena today that makes me want to spend my hard-earned greenbacks. I now have an inexpensive CD-ROM drive that is not multimedia compatible and it reads every CD-ROM disk that I am the least bit interested in. I'm satisfied. I may wish to upgrade in a year or two, but not now. My advice: decide what you want TODAY, how much you are willing to pay for it and how much use you can get out of it. Then get it. – Dick
