That's not out of the question but all of the .GIF, .TIF and .PIC formats are just the same .DIB image in a different format for subscribers who'd like to use the image for something other than a pretty picture on NAUTILUS. Re: .MID files. All of the files on Vol 2, Iss 1 should launch from the shell (if you have an MPC sound card) with the exception of HORNPIPE.MID. It has too many voices for the MIDI chip on the sound card. Due to a production error (mine) the text file explaining that doesn't appear in the shell. It is, however on the disc in the SBYTES directory called MIDIINFO.TXT. We're working on providing some free use run time programs (ie. viewers) so that you can view/launch apps from the shell.
