#Software lists
Andy Nicola has been maintaining an ST software list on the Atari Developer's
Forum, and it is up to 1,100+ entries. I'd like to see a similar list for the
Amiga. Commodore claims "350+" titles. I know that's a severe underestimate,
but I don't have a list to back the feeling up.
(4-hour pause between first and second paragraphs). Just had a long
COnference with a bunch of people. I hear CBM was giving out two
software/hardware lists at CES, one 40 pages and the other 1/2" thick. I'm
going to try to find out how to get those from CBM.
Meanwhile, I think it would be a great idea to have a user-supported list of
all available software. Rick Rae was doing it for a while, but he seems to
have stopped — and his list was never kept very up to date (which isn't a
disparaging comment… just the truth. Software lists are a PITA to maintain).
Would someone like to take it on? I would but A) I don't have time and B) I'm
lousy at organization. And C) I don't have local dealers worth a d***.
