"CBU today traded on the NYSE finally."
Interesting. Sounds like they got a few bucks in the bank to meet the minimum
qualifications and that there may not be any "change of corporate ownership" in
the works. Also, they still have the problem of not having an opinion letter on
their last audit, but that could be overcome.
"Trading was suspended once (twice possibly) due to a lack of SELLERS on the
floor!"
At its current price, it doesn't make much sense for anyone whose ridden it
down this far to sell. The difference between 7/8ths and a total loss is
negligible. Stocks priced this low will often bounce upward a time or two
before settling into oblivion. And sometimes they take a real run upward.
"Looks like someone may be snatching up shares for a possible take-over?"
I'm sure you know more about this than anyone anywhere, but if this big
snatch is going on, how come the prices haven't risen? Maybe I missed it, but
where's the trading volume that would indicate such activity?
I know you know everything, but in my experience such moves are accompanied
by upward pressure on the stock price as the supply of available shares
diminishes.
