#Chinon Problem
Have had a CDS-431 for about 1 year and have been reasonably happy.
Recently developed a perplexing problem.
Two of my eight CD's work fine. Four will not even give me a
directory read -(CDR 101 Not ready…).One will give a dirctory read on an
intermittent basis, but will not run the program. The last will begin to
run on an intermittent basis but then locks up.
Have switched carriers,cleaned the disks, and gone to a bare bones
floppy boot-always getting the same results.
I hope someone can offer a clue as to what to do next. Even advice
on who to contact would be appreciated.
