But of course! What true hacker ISN'T? I got hooked on an old PDP version,
and was latter selling, through my company, one of the first completely RAM
resident micro versions. It ran on 6800 adn 6809 machines, and fit completely
within about 40K of RAM. Other versions have since surpassed this, but at the
time it was an amazing feat of comression.
Unfortunately, I stumbled across a cheat book and read how to get the final
point before I realized what I was reading, but I did manage to get to 349
points on my own before then. The original Adventure still has a warm spot in
my heart.
