Michael, you can still use any known brand of external CDROM drive with the
SB Pro without a hitch. Only if you are going to install an internal CDROM
drive and are running out of expansion slots will the proprietary SCSI port
of the SB Pro be a handicap. Rumor says Creative Labs is redesigning the SB
Pro SCSI port to be standard SCSI and should have revised hardware shipping
by mid-year.
