"recommend a good book"
The best (most available) is the documentation with AA. Did you get the
documentation with your "comp" copy?
There were a few books, Inside Autodesk Animator, Using Animator, The Best Book
of Autodesk Animator, which are out of print but might be available in
bookstores still.
