Thanks Brian, I am starting with 3DSHELL, and have remedied my "out of env space" problem by setting variables prrior to 3DS rather than from within the external process… HOWEVER each line in the external .bat file flies by on my monitor over 3DS (like the abnormal program termination message). Once the .bat file is finished invading my screen space, and a black screen renders, 3DS returns to normal. I am trying to capture a reflection map off of video using SoftVTR in conjunction with the Matrox Illuminator Pro board. The external process in a .bat file provided by Chase Technologies. Unfortunatly they are not answering their phone! Thanks again! Tim
