The 4mm format can store as much as the 8mm format. I believe there are
10gig 4mm drives/cartridges.
You might be able to find an 8mm Exabyte drive for about the same price.
I think they are cheaper new, but don't lose as much value used or refurb
(something about video people liking them or something (I don't know
details) keeps demand high,).
