You should be able to tell something from the data connector(s). If it's 1
50 pin header, you've got SCSI. 1 40-pin is IDE in the 3.5" size, the 2.5"
IDE's used in the 1200 could have a 44-pin tiny metric connector. ST-506
drives use two connectors, a 20pin and a 34.
