Hi, Michael, Thanks for responding to question #3 about keeping the LoD floppy drive. I figured out that I needed to change the Berg pin on one of the drives to DF1 and now I can use it, but the high density drive does not want to format a HiD floppy to high density (says it will make it 720K). My *biggest* problem is that I could not find the complete ADOS 2.1 upgrade kit and have disks but no documentation. (I bought, from a mail order place which advertises in an Amiga magazine, a set of 2.1 disks which don't have official looking labels. I could not find a set from Commodore with docs anywhere.) Therefore my questions: how do I tell it to format to high density? How do I tell it to do an Amiga format rather than an MS-DOS format (and vice-versa)? >> I had AMAX II+ in there (but that's just been replaced by Emplant). Any comments on why you went with Emplant rather than upgrading your AMAX? And what do you thing of Emplant? Thanks, Brian
