Brian, have a look into your Devs/DOSDrivers drawer. There should be an icon for "Pipe" in it. To use your floppy with MS-DOS format you need a "PCx" as well ("x" being the unit, like in df0:, df1:, etc.). If it's not already there, you will find a "PC0" and a "PC1" in your Storage/DOSDrivers drawer. Just copy the file(s) you need to your Devs/DOSDrivers drawer and double-click on it/them which will mount the respective drives as MS-DOS format. From now on this will be done automatically when booting until you remove the files again from the dir. Apart from that, in your Tools/Commodities drawer, you'll find CrossDOS, which lets you alter the "Text Filtering" and "Text Translation" settings (read your manual what they do respectively – I just left'em like they were…). Sorry, I just had a quick browse though MY manuals and it only says "720KB", so I think you may have to create some modified "Mountlist" entries to cater for the MS-DOS HD format… // Chris coming in from Germany \X/ on AutoPilot 1.071……….
