Brian,
looks like a "pulled plug from socket – will not work" situation. I
don't know about the A3000, but in my A2000 the LED's wires lead to some
pins on the motherboard (power) or hard drive (HD) respectively, so you
might have just pulled them whilst fitting your new boards…
