I'm sorry, I thought I had posted an answer to your query. Too many messages.
Yes the Maxell is the P6 although I use the shorter version the P6-30HMBQ. Too
much tape stress on the 60's. I don't do frame by frame anymore with my Hi-8
but I think the Maxell works the best.
