WE do great amounts of lighting using 3DS as we visualise thetre shows and
conferences. We animate lighting cues and do all kinds of similar stuff. We
even had David Hersey (who did CATS and MISS SAIGAON) in the office lighting a
show… Soon we are to visualise all the scene changes for the new Cameron
Mackintosh production of Oliver in the West End. Both of us here have worked as
professional lighting designers and have great fun using 3DS with our new
renderfarm… Also.. we are part of the biggest Lighting company in the West
End… hence we have lots of wishes re: lighting in 3DS but are not developers.
If you are interested I have loads of ideas… We could really do with the
ability to programmes lighting cues and states, address groups and set up
fades, both cross fades and build fades… There's lots and lots… If you are
