Richard, 1. Contrast will darken the darks but also lightens the lights. Gamma will have similar effect. If the image is fairly dark to begin with and when you print it out it is faded looking try setting the contrast at 55 to 60% and the gamma at 1.75 (default) to 2.5. Do a test print with the tile count set to 2 x 2 or 3 x 3 so you get a decent size image to look at. 2. RPT /C was a 'feature' when the manual was written and was later found to be a 'requirement' so RPT is always in the /C mode. I'll make sure that gets added to the readme file, thanks. 3. <<no print adjustment options for 3D Studio>> ??? Please amplify this statement, I'm not sure what you are referring to. 4. 1200/PS is the PostScritp version of the 1200c. You can print to it in PostScript mode by simply selecting the color or mono PostScript driver. However for the fastest speed and best results use the 1200c PCL driver. We only reccommend using the PostScript driver if you have no other choice (your printer only prints PostScript) or the final image will be printed elsewhere and you are doing a 'proof' print on your printer.
