Smacker is a compressor and playback system for flic animations. It
can compress animations at several different settings – perfect,
minimum, moderate, maximum. The perfect quality is lossless – it
looks exact the same and will beat PKZIP by 5%-10%. On the opposite
end, the maximum setting will usually get 6-to-1 compressor (or about
four times smaller than PKZIP). The playback system has lots of
special options for developers and CD authors.
