Well, changing the Corel Pallette was my first thought too.<G> While the files have identical extensions (.PAL), naturally they aren't compatible. What I think you have to do (and also why I gave up on it) is manually get the list of the the 256 colors in the AniPro palette that you want to use – the 3 RGB values for each color. Then, since AniPro uses scaling from 0 to 255, you have to scale each value to Corel's 0 to 100. I got thru about 8 values when I decided this was insane, and merely reloaded my standard pallette over the Corel import gif. It is possible to do this obtaining and scaling of the palette thru a POCO program, which would speed it up. The one thing I don't know about is what one does about Window's 20 reserved colors. When you look at the available Corel palettes, it obvious that they let Windows do its own thing. I hope that my copy of 1.3a shows up soon (I did send in the bug report.) as it's getting to be a pain dealing with all the COMPATIBILITY that one gets using these major programs. – – – George.
