#Hot News 1200 CD-ROM dri
Commodore are going into make a CD-ROM drive for the 1200.
I saw an article in a mag while reading it in a shop. It said that Commodore
have announced that a CD-ROM drive for the 1200 will be released shortly. It
will not be FMV compatable because of the Gate Array thingy, and will probably
cost around 200.
Commodore were very reluctant to produce such a device because of the lack of
FMV, but hopes that a solution would be found in the near future. They were
quoted as saying this would be unlikely. The mag said reviews and pictures next
month.
