Gary, Help, I have phone & answering (with Radio Shack part on it & the # of rings set up you suggested) in double plug in house, computer & Supra fax/modrm with silent answer chip in sudio (same tel line of course). I tested silent answer & it didn't work. Discovered S0 wasn't prgramed to =6. Does it have to be? Is this all I have to do. Do I change GPFax initializing string? sorry for all these dumb questions but I can't find any updated docs for their upgrades. Supra was fairly clear that you had to program S0 to the # of rings for fax. I have no problem with incoming faxes if I know they're coming and check "AutoAnswer" AND answering machine isn't on (natch). Gracia, on AutoPilot from Cooleemee, NC
