Tar, a sticky problem

The problem with un"z"ing and un"tar"ing the AcesHigh.iob file from the
Syndesis Avalon CD-ROM with WinZip and rendering it in Imagine 3.2 is solved.
There was a faulty operator at my keyboard. WinZip supports an option called
"TAR LF to CR/LF Conversion." About what John mentioned: "Be sure that it's
not trying to perform any Unix-to-DOS text translation on the elements in the
'tar' file." Obviously, I don't need any extra Carriage Returns in my object
file. I didn't see that configuration option when I loaded WinZip, and it
happened to be on. One mouse click to deselect it, and every product worked
great, … off we go in the beautiful "AcesHigh" baloon.
Thanks for all your help. Every product mentioned is working perfectly, they
are working together, and best of all, the forum an tech support people were
really cool about this dumb question.
