doesn't seem like it – You run Masign – then hit OK – then click on a sphere in
the active viewport.
If you're still having problems, here's a work-around:
When you run Masign, note the color numbers of the fusion values. Then hit
Modify/Object/Change Color and select that color # for your object. Because
Mshape recgonized reference spheres based on their color, you can change their
colors by selected groups as well, and everything will work fine. I often
change colors by selected groups because I work with 100's of reference spheres
at a time.
another note: the detail of your reference spheres does not matter at all –
Mshape takes only the center point info and the radius value when it creates
the meta object. So, I keep the detail of my reference spheres at 10 segments
– which is just enough detail to work comfortably with.
