I can't see it being used as your main modeler, but what attracted it to me was
the ability to construct NURBS surfaces from curves that you draw like SGI 3d
programs. The disadvantage of the program is that you can't edit a selection
set of vertices at one time, and the advantage like I've mentioned is the fact
that it creates identical vertex counts after you modify a model. The
tutorials that came with the program are poor especially for 3d side of the
package, but a book is coming out that deals with that shortcoming. So for
I've only used it for creating a walking rug. Its a CAD program, so its
expensive like autocad. I got it for $150 due to academic pricing at UCLA.
