I posted a message here a couple of weeks ago with a question regarding upgrades for the R3 to the R4 versions of the 3D Studio File Toolkit and the IPAS Toolkit. The reply I received was that there wasn't a R4 version of the File Toolkit, but that there is a R4 version of the IPAS Toolkit, and that this was a free upgrade to owners of the R3 Toolkit. So far so good. When I rang US Customer services they said that there was no upgrade path from the R3 to the R4 verion of the IPAS Toolkit, and that I would have to pay the full price for the R4 IPAS Toolkit. I spoke to someone called Jim Passalacqua. I told him about the reply that I had received on the Forum, but he said that this was incorrect. It's not a big deal, but I just wanted to check with you guys first. What is the official policy?
