Allan: The CBM controller software, (HDToolbox?) will scan the bus and tell you what drives and scsi device #'s are online. Are both of your hard drives internal? If all you did was install the 210 meg HD w/o changing the scsi address, you probably have a conflict. Look for three jumpers labeled A0, A1, A2 on the drives and be sure that the settings are not identical. Those jumpers indicate binary address settings where: A0=1, A1=2, A2=4. Quantums usually ship with the addres set to 6 (A2, A1 jumped). You can make one of the scsi addresses 5 by setting the jumpers to A2,A1. Hope this helps. – Whapp!ng from the North Coast Michael
