Brian, I am surprised you don't find any relevance is discussing DXF files in the Asoft forum. What are all those DXF file providers like Acuris, Viewpoint, etc. going to do if you exclude DXF from this forum? I'm puzzled. I never mentioned Autocad once, so why would you assume I was discussing that software? Perhaps you are not aware of the large number of DXF mesh objects that are used world wide in 3D STudio. I ssume you are part of Autodesk and that you must have knowledge of 3D STudio. Let's say I want an anotomically perfect human pelvis…Would I loft it in the 3DS Lofter? No. I would by a DXF, and import it into 3D STudio, not Autocad. Please clarify your message about going to the Autocad forum to discuss DXF. Sanford
