I am aware of Jim and your desires to get on with it. You both need
to understand that this is your field of expertise and it takes a bit
longer for me to grasp your intent, as simple as it may sound to you.
The illustrations you sent required some interpretation on my part,
i.e. the embryo is shown sometimes with the emniotic sac and
sometimes not, the first story board I made (yes, I have already made
one) was not correct because of this. I am putting the finishing
touches on the drawings with the corrections.
This is a straight forward process for me on this level, but it does
tatke time to make a few dozen drawings and illustrations even though
they are just sketches.
As far as the menu look and feel files go, I have work less on this
matter because I know we will refine this later. I think it is best
to place "working buttons" and screens to maintain the "concept" of
your CD. Besides, as with most graphic design projects of this
magnitude, many of the features we wish to shown are not self evedent
at the beginning and only become clear at a much later date.
I would like to concentrate on this tricky little series of a normal
and two abnormal fetal developments to get the ground set for all
others. I am taking time to lay the balast, so to speak. After this
series is finalized, all the others can be modeled after it and
things will go mush smoother.
As a point of advise. I would like to have as many photocopies of the
things we are trying to model as possible. It is one thing to say you
want this animated, it is another to understand the complete objects
shape and form as it would appear. Can you get me a clean set of
reproductions of the entire fetal devvelopment? I need many more
pictures, or sources materials as possible, any old books you can let
me use for a while or book stores which carry medical books?
Sorry for the time it is taking. I simply need the time right now, I
want to do a very good job and be absolutely clear about the intent
of the project and how to structure my working methods.
