The area to exclude memory for video would be in the config.sys file. The line would read something like DEVICE=C:\QEMM\QEMM386.SYS RAM emb=32768 X=A000-C7FF ARAM=D000-DBFF, depending on which memory manager you use. The x=a000-c7ff excludes that area from use by the manager, again, your exact statement may be different, but the address will be the same. This may not be your problem, but it can't hurt anything.
