>I have tried to install aaplayhi from the CD rom provided with the Inside 3D >Studio book on to my IBM 700C PS/2 lap top; however there doesn't seem to be >the correct video driver for the active matrix screen. Is there a better driver with >some choice of resolution? I do get a screen, however the resolution is low and >the picture is not centered. >"…correct video driver for the active matrix screen." The 320×200 resolution >you *can* get is standard VGA. Could you give us a bit more info about the >laptop's video? You can run MSD.EXE at a DOS prompt for the info. You'll >probably be able to get it running higher res in VESA mode. (While you're in >MSD, see if VESA support is enabled.) The lap top gives the following information from MSD.EXE: Video adapter type: XGA Manufacturer: Unknown Display type: VGA color Video Mode: 3 Number of columns: 80 Number of rows: 25 Vesa support installed: No Secondary adapter: VGA I am going to try to contact IBM about Vesa support. However, if this is not available for this model is there anything else I can do? Regards, Peter Landeck
