The Amiga has never been the most high profit platform computer for a
manufacturer to build for. Perhaps GVP was able to stay in business a bit
longer and come out with additional products by being able to get a little more
profit out of the RAM for their products. As a dealer, I found them to be more
professional than many of the Amiga developers and I applaud them for staying
with the Amiga as long as they did. Commodore was never easy for their
developers to work with. I think the develpers who chose to create for the
Amiga despite Commodore should be worthy of respect, even if it is begrudgingly
given.
