I think AmiTCP is more complicated than it really needs to be. About 2 months ago I installed MacTCP and InterSlip on my Emplant. Although it wasn't exactly "Plug'N Play", it was about 20 times easier to install than AmiTCP and the SLIP software for the Amiga. Seems like AmiTCP was created by the net mindset that if you didn't know the meanings of the words "Domain server, IP address, Finger, Spam, etc.", then you didn't belong. Not for the AOL, CompuServe, and Portal netters like us <g>. And no, "Finger" is not what you show to your monitor when you can't get AmiTCP to work, and "SPAM" is not a processed meat that everyone hates <g>. // John (Warp 4040 & Emplant Quadra 840) \X/ Mercury@ins.infonet.net
