Mosaic problem!
I'm trying to get Mosaic to run (with a local Internet provider, not with CIS),
but I can never get a connection to another system. It says it sent a request
to the remote system, then nothing happens until many minutes later it says it
failed. Using netstat shows that a connection is open with bytes waiting to be
sent. This looks similar to a problem I'm having with SMTPpost and NNTPpost in
the INetUtils package, except they *do* eventually get the message sent,
whereas Mosaic just times out. But I'm not sure what I might be doing wrong. I
think my setup is pretty much standard, and Telnet, FTP, Gopher, and inbound
mail using POP all work fine with no such long delays. Has anyone experienced a
similar problem, and what did you do to solve it?
